About Cool climate Club
-
Cool Climate Club helps mission driven organizations in Canada support verified forest restoration projects using satellite data, AI, and on the ground monitoring. We make it simple to back reforestation efforts that are transparent, measurable, and built for long term ecological impact.
-
A Smart Forest™ is a blend of nature's wisdom and advanced technology, influenced by the knowledge of Indigenous communities. Our team uses their expertise and innovative digital tools to measure and track a forest’s ability to create clean air and purify water.
Through forest management, we also look at techniques to reduce natural disaster risks and rejuvenate our country's essential ecosystems, economy, and social well-being.
-
Every Smart Forest™ we build is guided by five clear goals. These goals ensure that your investment in tree planting delivers real, lasting value for the climate, for nature, and for communities across Canada.
1. Capture Carbon & Tackle Climate Change Our forests are designed to absorb and store carbon dioxide (CO₂) as they grow, helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and slow the impacts of climate change.
2. Restore Biodiversity & Wildlife Habitat We reforest areas with diverse, native species to rebuild natural habitats, protect threatened wildlife, and strengthen ecosystems across Canada.
3. Protect Water, Soil & Communities Our projects stabilize soils, filter water, and reduce flood risks by restoring natural forest cover. Every tree planted helps safeguard the land and the people who live near it.
4. Support People, Jobs & Indigenous Partnerships Forests strengthen local economies by creating jobs in tree planting, stewardship, and green innovation. We work in partnership with Indigenous communities to ensure forests provide social, cultural, and economic benefits.
5. Build Healthier, Greener Spaces for the Future Our projects improve air quality, reduce extreme heat, and support healthier communities. By planting forests today, we are creating green spaces that future generations can enjoy.
-
We started Cool Climate Club to make it easier for Canadian businesses to invest in local forest restoration—right here at home. While others focus overseas, we grow forests across ON, BC, NS and NB in Canada, using technology to track every tree planted. Our goal is to strengthen ecosystems, support Indigenous and forestry communities, and keep climate action local, visible, and measurable.
