The City of Ottawa, Canada's Forest Trust Corporation and Cool Climate Club are proud to announce a new sponsor supporting the City's tree planting projects.
Canada’s Forest Trust Corporation (CFTC) is a social enterprise that empowers businesses to take measurable climate action by pairing a comprehensive approach to tree planting in Canada with proprietary technology to create Smart Forests™. Working with data and forestry partners, national youth groups and more, offering turnkey, nature-based solutions that are transparent and impactful. Cool Climate Club (CCC) is the retail brand of CFTC, offering the same product with marketing that engages younger audiences like Gen Z and Millennials.
As part of this sponsorship, the City, CFTC and CCC have launched a campaign to support the City of Ottawa’s tree planting programs. The campaign invites Ottawa businesses and residents to join in taking measurable climate action. A portion of all funds raised by CFTC and CCC will be provided to the City to contribute to Ottawa’s tree canopy, and digital dashboards will track the impact of this initiative.
